What is the Oasis?

Oasis, the international NLP community exists to extend the spirit of NLP University, to create the future together, to enrich peoples’ lives, to create a field where NLPU Alumni and friends can explore, exchange and inspire.

There are many ways to be a part of this community; you can meet with other NLPU Alumni and friends at one of our Events, you can be inspired to work on your mission or help someone else realise a dream, you can share your expertise and skills, you can be a listening ear or a helping hand.  It is your choice as to how much and how often you become involved.  It is ok not to know what's going to happen when you join us. It is great to find out!

The starfish becomes an oasis

There has not been many public activity in the past year because the Starfish Community needed to clarify its purpose and structure. 

As a result of the streamlining process, we realised that a new name would better illustrate what we are all about: Oasis.

We imagine the Community as a place to rest after a long journey, a place to fill up on your energy and enthusiasm, a place to share, to give, to receive.  A place from which it becomes easy to continue our individual journey.

What is the Active Space?

The Active Space is a collaborative environment, where Starfish Community members can launch ideas, work together in projects and contribute their thoughts and insights.

The Active Space is built as a Wiki (e.g. www.wikipedia.org). All members can create a new Wiki Page or edit existing Wiki Pages.

The Wiki pages on this web site can be bundled to build 'books' with sections and subsections.

How to Join?

The Community is open to anyone with NLP background and/or interest who is willing to contribute to the activities of the Community and who abides by the Community values, mission and guiding principles.

To join, simply create a profile and add as much information as possible so we understand you are genuine and so that you can network more easily with other members of the Community.
