I have just returned from the Starfish event in London and I would like to thank everyone who made it possible to have such a rich week-end. I have felt a very strong connection with everyone present, whether I had met them before or not. And I have enjoyed seeing you.
I come home with a synesthesia of a heart beating with a strong pulse, connected to many, many other hearts. They are bathing in light and warmth and they are given support, movement, direction by hundred pairs of hands. I feel and I see the energy that is driving us to be a part of the Starfish Community.
I kept saying to myself "I want to be a part of this". Even though we are still defining ourselves as a community, I want to be a part of this. Even though the main map is not quite well defined yet, I want to be a part of this. Even though it may take more time and patience than I would have thought, I want to be a part of this. Even though I don't know who might be joining us, I want to be a part of their world.
Thank you for allowing me to explore, inspire, be inspired, sponsor and be sponsored. Oh and for the great fun, too!

As a co-organiser for the event, my journey in preparation has been one of some excitement, an unknown as to what would come out of it and also a trust and some faith that all the resources will come through at the right time and in whatever manner would suit for the event.... and they did!
Its been a journey of letting go of making it just "right" and being open to whatever comes while holding the space for all of us all through sponsorship, respect with a core of joy! It ended up being more than i could have expected in terms of what everyone received by all, and what was given by all.
In the words of lovely Naila, I salute your collaboration, openness and creativity to the event, not only by being there but also by all you had to offer - this time, and its not the last...
Thank you for keeping the spirit of who we really are alive.
With the warmest of regards for each of you.

Thank you all for your great contribution to the success of this event. Of course special thanks goes to the organization team!
This event again showed me again what would be possible if we all will pull on the same cable in the same direction - as you know a cable has several cores.... If each of us will continue to contribute in the way he's able to then nothing can stop us.
I'm looking forward to the action points as well as to the next event - It's up on us to "walk the talk"!
For all of you my deepest respect and warmest regards, Christian

This is a magnetic field that attracts people together . Some stronger links are created between smaller groups around an idea, a feeling, a vision. I'm so passionate about observing that natural movement of the people within the group, like this cloud of little birds that we can see at the end of the day. Extending the cloud, contracting the cloud, again and again, in a way that scientists can't model...
And like the 5Rythme wave, our group has lived the archetypical steps that lead to fulness. I'm grateful for the people with whom I've shared this wave, and especailly the people who have danced (physically) this deeply emotionally wave on sunday. I thanks also, all the persons without whom everything would have not happen: the organizers and facilitators.
I'm looking forward to, once again, sharing in a simple way what matters for all of us for the good of the others.
I wanted to say a big fat thank you to all the people I met at the Starfish Event.................
it was a real pleasure, and in particular to Mahnaz and Armando for all they did to make it happen. I salute you.

This was my first Starfish meeting and it was really great. I left it with a sense of having given value to time. I had a wonderful weekend, resourcing and connecting. I met beautiful people, people I am so glad to have met and know a little bit better now.
Many thanks for all you did to make it happen. You have been super organizers. And thank you to all the facilitators and participants.

Indeed, there are Masters among us. Scattered amongst the continents to shine their lights as brightly as possible, simply by being themselves, living mostly "ordinary" lives. Until, with enough of them walking the earth, at the deepest psychological levels, a tipping point will be reached so that all others will be raised ever higher into the light, simply for being in their midst, as if through osmosis.
Of course... there's always been the risk that these Masters, once immersed into a sea of limited thinkers, might mistaken their "ordinary" lives as simply ordinary lives, think they're simply one of the herd, and therefore not appreciate their unique perspectives, grasp their mission, or love themselves as they are no matter what others think, and the whole osmosis thing won't work.
I am honored to be a part of the Star Fish community thank you for your input and sparkle.
Looking froward to seeing you again.

Every time people who shared an experience in NLPU in Santa Cruz come together again, something very unique takes form. It's unique and new in terms of ideas, projects, skills and because everybody brings a true warmth and openness towards others and about oneself. This is what human beings can do when they connect with the light, the space of kindness and clarity which is the subtle core of our mind. The field we can experience every time, and London beautifully marks a further step in it, is the product of many, many different and multi-faceted, multicoloured minds, but all tuned to the same source.
And it is so touching when you can dance this certainty in your life - we danced it through the drumming circle with Nihat Tsolak showing us the rythm, and in the 5Rythms trance where this fine vibration expressed itself and connected us to each other even more deeply. I believe we can bring this dance everywhere in our lives, make it available to everybody: the fire is there for all and for ever, we are just the candle by which another candle is lit and then another... limitless. Thank you Mahnaz and Armando for being such bright flames, and to each one and all of the beautiful friends who facilitated the meeting together with you.
Many metaphors have been shared among us to define the image of our website, at the same time they were also powerful images for our group - and one of us spoke about water and a feeling of freedom and movement. I thank him here for this inspiration, since it is also said: "Water keeps on flowing and fills all places as soon as it touches them, it doesn't shun any dangerous point, it doesn't shun any fall, and it doesn't lose in any way its essential nature. It is true to itself in all conditions. Water flows uninterruptedly and it reaches its goal.'' Doesn't it also say something about our identity as Starfish Community? For me our London meeting is a drop of water that we pour in a wider ocean, this is why we can make it last beyond ourselves.

I attended only on the Friday, and as I said to Mahnaz, I don’t think I’d realised before what a great event you were organising, nor how MUCH was involved in making it happen. Thank you very much for welcoming me to attend. I enjoyed it very much and was very impressed by the commitment of the people involved. Of course, having attending only on the Friday, I am now very curious to know everything that happened on the next couple of days. There was such a wonderful energy of people in that room, and it was clearly going to go somewhere!
I enjoyed my day as an event in itself, and it was great to remake connections with people who share some of the same story – and to meet new people too. It is the energy of these connections that make things happen I think. For my part I know it is a group of people where I can go to for help when I have a project to pursue, and where I may be drawn to someone else’s project too.
Thank you to everyone who made it happen. It was a wonderful gift to us all.
Warmest good wishes, Judy

What a fantastic weekend we spent in London at the Starfish Community. After several months of planning and weeks of running around making sure venue, program, activities, and everything else was in place, it finally arrived. Mahnaz and I spent many hours meeting, on the phone, exploring venues, attempting to put a program together that would make all the attendees enjoy a positive experience and would bring continuity to the work already started in Belfast, Brescia and Brussels. We had great input, sponsoring and unconditional support from Fern, Eva, and Dott as the dates draw closer to the meeting. Many Gratitude goes to everybody who directly or indirectly helped to make the London meeting a success as creating a place for allowing exchange of ideas, knowledge, sponsoring, and more importantly to allow magic to happen. Thank You All!. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet so many exceptional people with whom new friendships have been forged, and I look forward to nurturing and enriching them.
Having taken some time to reflect back on the weekend, I have realised how important these meetings are, for they not only enrich our knowledge and spirit but also allow us to look around and benefit from the energy and goodwill created by our getting together. We all know The Field is created by us and for us, so it refreshing to bathe in the nurturing waves of this field.
It also became clear to me how we can keep this Community alive and growing. There is the initial spirit that brought us together, that experience we lived in Belfast and touched the ones who were there, the realisation that there is so much that we can do, our skills are so useful and needed in so many parts of this planet. The smile, the look we get back from someone who we just acknowledge and hear, is a great reward and a validation that we are here to create world we all want to live in. It depends on us, we make that world. The words of Gandhi always come to me … ‘Be the change you want to see in the world’. So if we want to see more compassion, mutual respect and acceptance of other, then we should embrace it, and be that ourselves. That to me has been very clear, and very reassuring of the path my journey has taken me. In addition to that, I rejoiced in the presence of all the friends I met. It is a blessing and a unique opportunity to learn from each other, to be sponsored and to sponsor each other. It is the fuel that keeps the Community alive and moving forward. What a treat to be in that environment that we create ourselves. It is my believe that we need to move forward with a space for the community based projects to flourish and grow, as well as with a space for all of us to grow together and sponsor each other so we can become a Starfish Throwers in our own environments. Compassion does not depend on a specific environment (specially one big with many people and big impact), so we all can and should be Starfish Throwers in our own environments (being it at home, at work, in the local communities). Imagine a world in which we are all Fresh, Healthy and Happy Starfishes swimming in an Ocean of love… Oh that’s the feeling I carry with me from this weekend!
